If medication is part of your care plan, your provider may prescribe medication during or after your appointment.
All prescriptions are sent electronically through our system to your selected pharmacy.
When are prescriptions sent?
If your provider determines that medication is appropriate:
• your prescription is typically sent after your appointment
• it is sent electronically to your selected pharmacy
👉 In many cases, this happens the same day, but timing may vary.
How prescriptions are sent
Prescriptions are sent through a secure electronic prescribing system.
This means:
• your provider sends the prescription directly to your pharmacy
• you do not need to pick up a physical prescription
• your pharmacy will process the prescription and notify you when it’s ready
Choosing your pharmacy
When setting up your account or booking your appointment, you’ll be asked to select a pharmacy.
👉 Make sure your pharmacy details are accurate, including:
• pharmacy name
• location (city/state)
Incorrect or outdated pharmacy information can delay your prescription.
What happens after your prescription is sent?
After your prescription is sent:
1. your pharmacy receives the prescription
2. they process and prepare the medication
3. they notify you when it’s ready for pickup
Processing times vary depending on the pharmacy.
Important things to know
• Medication is only prescribed when clinically appropriate

• Your provider determines the medication, dosage, and treatment plan
