What if my pharmacy didn’t receive my prescription?

If your pharmacy says they haven’t received your prescription, don’t worry — this is usually something we can resolve quickly.

Step 1: Confirm timing

Prescriptions are typically sent after your appointment if medication is prescribed.

In many cases, this happens the same day — but it may take some time to process.

👉 We recommend waiting a short period after your appointment before following up with your pharmacy.

Step 2: Double-check your pharmacy details

Make sure the correct pharmacy is on file:
    •    correct pharmacy name
    •    correct location (city/state)
    •    correct contact information

If anything is incorrect or has changed, this can delay your prescription.

Step 3: Contact our support team

If your pharmacy still has not received your prescription, please reach out to us so we can help.

Include the following information:
    •    your full name
    •    medication name (if known)
    •    pharmacy name and location
    •    a brief description of the issue

Email: support@adhdadvisor.org
Phone: +1 (855) 526-6766

Our team will coordinate with your provider and pharmacy to resolve the issue.

Common reasons this happens

There are a few common reasons your pharmacy may not see the prescription yet:

  • Processing delays
    • Pharmacies may take time to receive and process electronic prescriptions.
  • Pharmacy system issues
    • Occasionally, prescriptions may not appear right away due to internal pharmacy system delays.
  • Pharmacy selection needs to be updated
    • If your pharmacy information needs to be updated or corrected, the prescription may need to be resent.
  • Medication availability
    • If a medication is out of stock, the pharmacy may not process it until availability is confirmed.

Need to change your pharmacy?

If you’d like your prescription sent to a different pharmacy:
    •    contact our support team with the new pharmacy details
    •    we will update your account and coordinate next steps

👉 We recommend confirming that your medication is in stock at the new pharmacy before requesting a change.
