ADHD Advisor is a self-pay practice and does not accept insurance.
This means:
• we do not bill insurance companies directly
• we do not submit claims on your behalf
• payment is required at the time of booking or service
Can I use my insurance at all?
While we do not accept insurance directly, you may be able to use your out-of-network benefits depending on your plan.
In some cases, you can request a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
👉 Important:
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends entirely on your individual insurance plan.
Do you accept Medicaid?
No — ADHD Advisor does not participate in Medicaid and cannot submit claims to Medicaid on your behalf.
While you may request a superbill, Medicaid typically does not allow patient-submitted reimbursement.
👉 Because of this, reimbursement through Medicaid is unlikely.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes:
• the services you received
• provider information
• billing codes
• diagnosis codes
You can submit this document to your insurance provider to request reimbursement for out-of-network care.
How do I request a superbill?
You can request a superbill by contacting our support team:
Email: support@adhdadvisor.org
Please include:
• your full name
• the dates of service you’re requesting
• any specific requirements from your insurance company
Will I get reimbursed?
Reimbursement depends on your insurance plan.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly and asking:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• Will telehealth ADHD services be reimbursed?
• What percentage is covered?
• Do I need pre-authorization?
ADHD Advisor cannot guarantee reimbursement.
Why doesn’t ADHD Advisor accept insurance?
We operate as a self-pay practice to:
• provide faster access to care
• reduce administrative delays
• simplify the care experience
• allow providers to focus on clinical care rather than insurance processing
